~ Glory Days ~

Hello World,  here are my most recent creations and I must admit that this was indeed a challenge.  Or started out that way for sure!  A friend challenged the use of the Cricut Cart Nursery Rhymes... and oh my wow.  So, I grabbed the book and asked myself just why did I purchase this cartridge ?   It was not long before the ideas came rolling in one after the other!   So with the upcoming celebration of our great nation I could not have picked a better cartridge!  I love Americana and these images were super for a few cards.  I hope you like as much as I do.   I know my mother will when she receives hers in the mail :)     One additional cart used was Independence day for the Flag used as a back drop.     Hope they inspire someone to celebrate the coming Glory Days of Summer :)

I can happily report that I see Holiday cards in my near future with this same kind of flare!  I had so much fun creating these!   Peace, Love and Liberty wishes to you !!

Country Boy

The challenge... use Straight from the Nest.   Whew.. cart is and overload of cuts begging to be used.  I actually sat and jotted down all the cuts from this cart that appealed to me and that I thought I would actually use.  Can you say 41 !!!!  needless to say I have plans for many more layouts in the near future.  For now... here is one of Cody.  I pulled this photo out of a pile waiting to be scrapped.  This was 2005.. and now.. 2012 he has graduated HS.   Im sooo struggling with letting him go.  But grown he is.     We love our cabin and the quiet time in the country.   I used MME .. yep.. again.  told you i love this stuff.    The cuts from SFTN are the leaves and the flourish as well as the scallop like border.  The font for Country and 2005 were cut from the Cricut 'Stamped' font cartridge.

Annivsary Card

Another Card from Paper Lace, this time one I made for my dear husband.  I love My Minds Eye and as of late can not seem to get enough of their product!  Although this has flowers and bows, I still find it masculine enough for him, and girly enough for me :)
If your interested in the details of the MME collections used please ask!  I am at the moment sitting at the kitchen table .. and can and will inventory the studio supplies.  I will tell you that as a fan of MME... I do tend to mix collections in my projects.   Hugs.. more to come !

Graduation Cards

Wow.. time really does go by so very quickly. Now that Graduation has come and gone things are slowing down and I am back to share, well.... quite a bit. First up, Graduation cards. Created for both guys and gals. For these I was challenged to use my Paper Lace Carts and it turned out to be the perfect cartridge! Here are the photos. No welding, just straight cuts off the carts. The school colors were Orange and white and at first I was afraid things would come out looking halloweenish... so glad they didnt. :)
